I didn't grow up in the world of fashion. I grew up in a world where everyday life — and the friction of working closely with people — taught me to notice, to feel, and to sense what is right and what isn't.

Above all, it taught me to live with Areti : a word that in Greece needs no translation. It's the innate quality that makes a person live by their highest values.
It's expressing the best of yourself through what you do. That became my measure. Whatever I make, make it properly. Whatever I believe, put it into practice.

And that's how I found myself watching my wife go about her day, and saw her searching for the answer to a question that mattered:
How is it that the garment which follows a woman through her entire day — the one that touches her skin more hours than anything else — is made with the least care of all?

That's how Qinetiko was born.

I built it the only way I know how. With values, with attention, and slowly. Every seam worked until it was right. Every fabric tested again and again, on real women, through real days. And the longer I built it, the more I understood something I hadn't counted on at the start.

I wasn't making leggings. I was making something that would leave her alone — that wouldn't ask for her attention, wouldn't have her tugging at it, straightening it, wondering whether it shows. A garment that would follow her movement without ever interrupting it.

Because a woman is always in motion, even when she's standing perfectly still.

That motion is what gave Qinetiko its name. To the ancients, Kínisi didn't mean travelling from one place to another. It meant the way the possible becomes real , the seed becoming a tree, the girl becoming a woman. That's where you are, too. Every day, without having to prove it to anyone. Qinetiko doesn't ask you to become anything. It doesn't promise you another version of yourself. It simply recognises what you're already doing.

You're already in motion. We just make the clothes that know it.
